Hi How

Is there an Eddowes relative left alive these days?

I'm sure there are, Lars....

I think two of them attended a Ripper Convention about 7 or 8 years ago....

There's the lady who appeared on the FMP special episode and provided a DNA sample for the shawl comparison.

Heres an interesting little snippet from https://londondreamtime.com/unripped...ck-the-ripper/

The Author of this blog clearly states that this is not NOT a photo of Eddowes ( "I chose the smiling woman as a poetic opposite to the grimy depressing images we have of the 1880s “victims” …thus it’s is not meant to be any particular woman, rather an expression of life not death.)

One can understand however that such a picture, associated with a post about Eddowes could easily be picked up and disseminated further AS a pictures of Eddowes by a less scrupulous person. especially when the file name even says its one of Catherine Eddowes.

They were guests of honour at the 2007 Wolverhampton conference. Lovely ladies. It struck me, and some others, that there was quite a family resemblance.

This one is unique.....a victim of the Ripper ( MJK ) and the Ripper, herself.

Its Dr. John Williams' wife.
