There are some people it is best not to mess with.

Chris is one. Well done.

I'm pleased to say that a further amendment has now been made to the article, removing the statement about Russell Edwards's claim being "generally accepted."

Actually, I'm pleasantly surprised by how reasonable they've been, though it did take two attempts to get everything dealt with. I think it helped that I went directly to IPSO, and IPSO then passed the complaint to them so that they could try to resolve it.

Here's the latest from Russell Edwards. "Jack The Ripper, Poltergeist sighting at Leavesden Asylum. The Jack The Ripper Experience Hunts":

And apparently, coming soon from Bull Productions, "Southern Paranormal attempt to contact Jack the Ripper, Facts by famous author Russell Edwards":

Default Londonist Out Loud podcast

Has anyone heard this?

N Quentin Woolf interviews RE for nearly an hour, all goes OK with Edwards' normal championship pitch, then Woolf reads about the DNA mistake and revisits RE to question him further. Part two does not go very well.

"So many holes..."

It's a long show (though shorter than some of mine), but after listening to the introduction, if that doesn't make you listen to the whole thing, fast forward to about the 55 minute mark when N Quentin Woolf confronts Russell Edwards again.
