Hope things get sorted out for you Jon. I thought I had enough problems with my brand new central heating/hot water system stopped working. I suspect a leak somewhere but I cant find it.

Did you find that lyric in Noddy Holder's waste paper basket?

Seriously, Jon - things will pick up, I'm sure. They did for me in 2012, when we too were completely without electricity on Christmas day. Turned out to be a fine Christmas, in the end.

I wish you all the best. And, of course, everyone else on the Forums.

I kinda know what you're going through Jon. Two weeks ago we had an ice storm here in Tennessee with power outages. This past Saturday, we had 75 degree weather and tornadoes. I was talking to Don Souden when the sirens went off. He asked me if I needed to seek shelter and I said "no we're used to this, even this time of year" .... By the way, Don is sounding real good now and he's making plans to attend next year's Ripper conference. He doesn't like being where he's at for Christmas, but realizes he's come a long way. Been a tough year for several of us I suppose.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I just got home after finishing a project I needed to get done and I have a bottle of George Dickel. There's nothing like drinkin' good Tennessee sour mash and gettin' the old shotgun out and shootin' mistletoe out of the trees.

Now to find a certain someone to make the mistletoe hunt worthwhile...
Heck, that's what the Dickel is for.

Enjoy your family and friends and make lasting memories to cherish.
