Default Thanksgiving 2014

Little early on the notice, but it is fast approaching my favorite holiday... Turkey Day.

My step-daughter says..."Just think. If the Indians have given the Pilgrims a donkey instead of a turkey....we'd all be getting a piece of ass for Thanksgiving !".

Hope you enjoy yours as much as we will here.

Wishing you and Nina and my fellow 'Mericans a most Happy Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday too. No gift giving BS, just friends and food.

I agree 100%, Bob and Howard -- I consider Thanksgiving to be an "honest" American holiday for food and fellowship and family without the commercial "trimmings" that have wrecked Christmas.

So to all my friends, Happy Thanksgiving.

Chris

Not something we celebrate right-pond, but hope all left-ponders on here enjoy a great Thanksgiving...

All the best

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Americans (and, I believe, Canadians) who are celebrating your safe arrival in the New World.

It's true that the boat carrying the Brown family saw a sudden and unexplained upsurge of anaemia among the other passengers, but this was doubtless totally coincidental.

Canadian Thanksgiving was in October.

I'm definitely going to celebrate, despite being on German soil.

Cabs lined up this evening at Union Station, Washington, D.C., two days before Thanksgiving, 2014.
