Robert, I like your idea on Post One of this thread.

Hey, if you catch the next flight out of Heathrow to Philadelphia, you can arrive at Howard's home by Wednesday afternoon. Then simply put on your chef's hat in the kitchen and prepare an expensive candlelit dinner for Howard and Nina.

Just combine the cost of that meal with your talent for cooking, and we'll give new meaning to the phrase The St. Valentine's Day Massacre, heh heh.

Before I celebrate St. Valentine's Day on Wednesday, I still have time tonight to celebrate Fat Tuesday. I enjoy saying those words. Fat Tuesday !

There's been a shortage of roses in Australia, to the point where we've had to import them from South America for the occasion. Tragic.

Cheers,
Adam.

Joe, I got the finest quality scrapple from Harrods and bought the ticket, but they wouldn't let me on the plane unless I left the scrapple behind.

Adam,

If Saint Valentine of Rome (226 A.D.-269 A.D.) knew where Australia was back in the 3rd century, I'm sure he would have seen to it that the place would have been stocked with an endless supply of rose gardens. I guess now you'll just have to settle for roses that come from Cape Horn.

Robert,

Actually it's better that you missed that flight. The last time you left your home was for a week's stay in Ireland, and for days all of the Ripper World was in panic looking for you. Luckily, you came back home right before we started to drag the bottom of the Thames.

Oh, I'd never jump in the Thames, Joe - it might disturb Howard's eels.

Hi Robert,

I don't mind a bit of Frank.

My regards,

Sean.

Hi Sean

I don't mind a lot of Frank. But this has to be one of his worst recordings. Nothing wrong with the singing, but as for the lyrics and arrangement - it is better imagined than described.

Actually I think that must have been speeded up a bit. This is more like the original 78 rpm :

Robert,

"All My Tomorrows" is a great song by a great singer.

It takes me back to The Ancient Foresters pub, Bermondsey. The old boys used to be suited and booted and would readily take to the mic. Freddie Foreman would occasionally put in a performance.

My best wishes,

Sean.
