Default variety

Hello Adam. Thanks.

Actually, that is what I intend--different ideas with a variety of forensic situations.

Cheers.

Hi Lynn,

No problem - again I think this is an interesting idea and wish you the best of luck with it.

Cheers,
Adam.

Default scarfing it down

Hello Adam. Thanks.

I hope to spend much time on various approaches to the scarf.

Hi Lynn,

It may sound trivial but it could be equally as important to reproduce as close as possible the kind of scarf Liz was wearing, as much as what exactly was or wasn't done with it - as per the discussion with Nemo earlier on.

Cheers,
Adam.

Default knotty girl

Hello Adam. Thanks. A good idea.

I think there has been much discussion about the size. If it were small, perhaps the knot/tightness are irrelevant?

Cheers.

Hi Lynn,

I'll confess I have no idea about the size of the scarf - i'm presuming it was just your average, run of the mill type that drapes over the shoulders.

I was more interested in what material it was made of and whether or not that material would be strong enough to use as a manouvering/strangling device.

Cheers,
Adam.

Hello Adam. Thanks.

I am given to understand that it was silk.

My suggestion would be to read, or re-read the two articles by Gavin Bromley, "Smith's Beat" in the no. 70 August 2006 Rip and "Taking a Stride Down Berner Street" in no. 71 (September 2006 Rip). Quite a bit of the speculation about who saw what could be reassessed from these two excellent pieces.
