Default Peer Review

***Forums Peer Review***

A very good way...if not the very best way.... of finding out about soon-to-be-released or recently published Ripper/East End/LVP/Specialized books is to subscribe to Ripperologist Magazine.
The Rip's reviewers, led by Paul Begg, provide an insight to these releases which have proven time and time again to be beneficial.

The primary reason I set this thread up is that there aren't that many letters to the Rip to provide alternative or supportive/critical responses to those reviews.

9 years ago, someone suggested a Peer Review be established on JTRForums. I balked at the idea because I didn't think we had the cadre to do so. Today I do.

If you have read any of the last year's ( April 2015-April 2016 ) releases in the field....you are encouraged to put your two cents in.

Thank you.

P.S. Owning the release does not equate with reading it.

Any and all books, from fact and fiction to compendiums.......any magazine article or academic paper....dating back to 1888 up until the present day will be considered.

For clarification sake :

I may have phrased the first post in such a way to invite misinterpretation.
Nine years ago, a good number of the long time, well read, researchers didn't post on JTRForums on a regular basis. Now, however, many do.
I didn't think the idea would fly in 2007. In 2016, I think it has a better chance of succeeding.
