"'Right,' intoned Nina from the audience. 'But whatever part of him you wish to measure, you shall find similarly lacking.'"

DOC : ...and so by the strict application of phrenological principles, we can ascertain the subject's entire character. For instance, this man is aggressive, argumentative and downright irritating.

2nd DOC : How do you know?

DOC : You see this bump? That's where I hit him.

DOC : Gentlemen, this man is choking quite badly, so I will now demonstrate how to remove an obstruction from the airways.....got it...and out it comes : a small piece of undercooked sprout.

MR BROWN OF SIDMOUTH : Thank you, doctor. I'll have a word with my wife.

DOC : Dr Holmgren, I don't think you can use phrenology to accuse Mr Lechmere of murder.

DR HOLMGREN : How dare you! I am not using phrenology - it's a pseudo-science.

DOC : Then why do you think Mr Lechmere is the killer?

DR HOLMGREN : Isn't it obvious? Look at his defiant expression. Note those beady eyes. What an ugly creep. Ah yes.

JtR:

VALENTINE: "I know you're technically deceased, Monty, but we're a bit pressed - so if you could take 1b for Latin this afternoon it would be a great help."

HB:

"What are you doing now?"

"Locating the brain cells in Mr Brown's head."

"With a pair of dividers?"

"Why yes! With a bit of luck I'll be able to spear both - one on each prong."

Non JtR:

"Yes my nose is a funny shape, but you referring to it as the square on the hypotenuse doesn't help my self-esteem!"
