Default Disappearing man

Administrator: One fellow in the second row from the left becomes a clone of himself in the fourth row from the left. Since only part of him moves the disappearance is an optical illusion. There are thirteen men in one picture and twelve in another. The clue truly is that one disappears.

I'm not necessarily very good at this stuff & I mess up a lot of things, but now you have a reply and I might be right!

Thanks to all who participated.

Anna - that puzzle has been definitively solved by one of the sneaky members who managed to find the solution on the WWW. It's posted somewhere in line here. That's why I have to do things like substitute skulls for cannonballs to thwart such plots. Thanks for trying, though.

Actually, I'm a lot more impressed by the creation of that puzzle than anything else. Theory is one thing; execution quite another. And the creator appears to be anonymous.
