I was sure I'd seen Bransby's face quite a lot on film or TV, but couldn't find anything to ring a bell. I think he's merging in my mind with Andrew Cruickshank.

The person from Bow may have lived into the 1970s/80s.

Makes you wonder how many people are alive today who have spoken to someone who lived in Spitalfields/Whitechapel through the WM.

Thousands I would have thought.
