Hello Lynn. I hope Tom can get back to working on Ripperology soon. I'm sure that eventually he'll get back "on the horse".
As for me, I'm soooo beat, gruesome schedule, TONS of bureaucracy to deal with, and perma relocating. At least my book is about to move from the editor to the publisher, and I just got the rights for the cover pic from Paris. And I've been swimming in the sea for hours daily (while visiting my mom), and there was even a shark sighting.
