I am a member of a forum that has a selection of such buttons, like, agree, thanks, clever, informative, funny, sympathetic, can't understand, disagree. The problem is that some people tend to use the last two 'negative' buttons without explaining why, the 'disagree' button in particular. All that is on a forum where there are far fewer things to disagree about so please don't have a disagree button.

I would also like to add that there are frequent requests for a 'groan' button to be used in the case of terrible puns, bad jokes or if we had one on this forum How's captions.

Some years ago we'd just redecorated our sitting room, restoring the previously absent skirting, picture rail and dado rail; We were visited by some female aquaintances of Irish extraction, keen to see how the room had turned out...

"Ooh look Mary, they've got a dildo"

Then we had to explain why were all quietly convulsed...

All the best

Dave
