I found Irwin too but he seemed to be Catholic, so less chance of becoming an "ordained minister". I found all kinds of material on the Galveston YMCA. Perhaps if I had read it all I could have found the name. I had a sneaking suspicion the man in question had a bigger historical place. Maybe he became a famous evangelist, or he was Billy Graham's grandfather or something. Wrong. But for some reason the name seems familiar, maybe because I have read a lot of religious material over the years.

Here's the full photo for you Victorian hounds. This was apparently taken in early 1900, and the home you see here was totally destroyed during the hurricane, as the Palmers lived only about 3 blocks from the beach.

Default OK, who is this?

Here we go again:

Who is this?

1. The image was taken in 1858.
2. Lewis Carroll took the picture.
3. She is posing as ‘The Beggar-Maid.’
4. She was born 101 years before Howard was.
5. She died in 1934.

Good Lord.

How did Robert crack Howard's password?

Good job again, Robert; the ink was hardly dry on this one.

Robert, er, Howard (Robert E. Howard?) hit the JTRpot here; Alice Liddell was the model for Alice in Alice in Wonderland.
