Who went by the alias of George Frank ?
He was a suspect in a murder...maybe not one in London...but associated with the Case at some point.

Go dummies go....

Whew ! That previous trivia was so tough that I forgot the answer myself.

To prove how little you personally ( Yeah, you...) know about stuff...try to answer this :

WHO was responsible for the name (or title by which they are known) of the murders which occurred in Austin,Texas threee years prior to the WM...known as the Servant Girl Annihilator Murders ?

I'll wait while you try and figure it out.

Stanley D :

I wouldn't know...but the person who did name those murders thusly was a reporter...and he ran afoul of the law at one point in his life.

How do we know this is the guy who first came up with the name? We have people claiming JtR in Dear Boss wasn't even totally original. I do know that the name wasn't used in the 2000 edition of Newton's The Encyclopedia of Serial Killers, even though the case was included, but was used in the 2006 edition.

Default O Stan

Stan:

Page 33 of the Mammoth Book Of Killers At Large ( Nigel Cawthorne) states that O. Henry ( W.S.Porter ) was working on the Austin Daily Statesman, when he came up with that title.
