Hi Stan and Howard

I see O'Henry is credited on a lot of websites with coming up with the name "Servant Girl Annihilator Murders" and yet he used the term in a letter to a friend and does not seem to have been a full-time journalist at the time in Austin but was working various other jobs, pharmacist, bank clerk, etc. So I wonder if he really did come up with the name or if he was either quoting a name that appeared in the press or a name that was being used on the street at the time?

All the best

Chris

Default Birthday Trivia

Yesterday was April 20th....which most people know is Adolf Hitler's birthday. # 122 for Der Boss.

It was also Ripperologist Jeff Bloomfield's birthday. Jeff is a fine writer and contributed to the collection of stories compiled by Camille Woolf some years back on the identity of the Ripper entitled, Who Was Jack The Ripper ?

It was also D'Onston's birthday. Sudden Death turned 170.

What other Case-related individual (witness, victim, suspect, official, prosty toot, etc)... had a birthday yesterday and would have been 151 ???

You get the '66 Corvair, not the Corvette...
You didn't take a crack at the photo I put up.

The answer to the photo trivia I placed on the boards a kupla days ago is....Forbes B. Winslow, the father of L. Forbes Winslow.

Since all of you did so well on that one...try this.

Name four alleged and actual suspects in the Case who were hairdressers.
