Default Cheers! Most appreciative of the opportunity to join the discussion at this board.

Many thanks to How for the kind welcome and unexpectedly rapid assistance with my registration (and that wee issue with posting. )

I look forward to taking advantage of the vast resources of this board and the encyclopedic knowledge of the experts, researchers and authors here to add much depth and academic background to my interest and research regarding crime in the Victorian East End and Whitechapel.

Cheers!

Edit:...and drat "dangerous" fat-fingering phones for creating spelling "crises"...in the post title you may decipher a misspelled word and reference the proverb: "In the Chinese language, the word "crisis" is composed of two characters, one representing danger and the other, opportunity."

The opportunity to join the discussion here is much appreciated.

Sounds like we are going to benefit from you just as much as you will from us, Leia. A warm welcome to the boards, and never mind the odd misspelling - if it was a crime, IŽd be doing life locked up somewhere by now.
