Default IMPORTANT ! REGISTERING : September 9th, 2014

It still appears that folks try to register on the Forums by the old method.
Tim never fixed the registration process....maybe he'll get cracking on that in the near future.

In any event, all interested parties....newcomers to the Case, long timers whose membership lapsed, and everyone in between....please email me at

Donston1888@aol.com

And I will register you promptly by 3 PM EST on the day you send in your request for membership.

Howard

As I recall, you had me disable that feature so applicants had to contact you personally. This made it easier for you to ask the females for a 'personal interview' and ask the males for a loan. But it's been a while, so I may have gotten this part backwards.

Be careful what you wish for - autoregistration is now enabled again.

Make it so when people try to register, they see a post directing them to my email address. 50 percent of the people who try to register eventually email me...it would be better to have all of them email me when they try registering on the old function....you dig ?

By the way, where's the link ( the old original one ) that people use and eventually get the 'registration disabled' message ? I can't find it !

Within three minutes from the time that you enabled registration....we got 4 new members...or bots or whatever the hell you call them....all with names like Cz#1X2fgh
It was a race between the swift and fat ( me ) and the invading robots...and we won.
Next time I ask you to do something Tim, ignore me.

oiberstmpzob at gmail was one of them....there were 7, not 4...within 15 minutes.

Excellent advice there.

All is well again, I think.

I haven't seen Howard move that fast since someone dropped a dollar at the 2002 RipCon.
