I suspect that unfortunately I weigh rather more than the lady and whilst carrying me down the stairs might not present a problem, carrying me up again could lead to a hernia. There's also the question of a wheelchair-friendly loo. It isn't very easy to get a wheelchair into a conventional loo.

But it isn't important. I only made a passing remark having sought advice about Dirty Dicks and been informed that it isn't wheelchair friendly. If it is, then that's good news.

Nothing can compare to Jtrforums ( in my mind the number 1 Ripper forum in the world) and the Rip well its untouchable.

What im talking about is a conference based newsletter ( newsletters are only a few pages long by the way, though size im told isnt important )

Social meet ups are great snd if you are into victorian london theres no better place to go than the WS .

However what about those who cant always travel to London or those who might want to hear about other crime or visit a ripper link in a different part of the UK ?

The WS wont cater for that and the Rip im sure doesnt want to be turned into the social day out gazette , so a nice newslettter for enthusiasts is quite different and im sure very welcome ( from what i hear anyway )

Ive organised a few events already in London that didnt even step on anyones toes and i had loads from the WS attending all asking to be notified on the next one.

When i update the conference website for 2016 i'll be putting links to all Ripper and crime sections so i'll be promoting the Rip , forums , the WS and anyone else who I think people will want to get involved with.

Its one big hobby that we should all enjoy. Allow me my little newsletter
Okay, I'll let you have your newsletter. But, of course, I wasn't saying it wasn't wanted or needed, I was simply observing that it was or was possibly duplicating what already exists, albeit in forms other than the one you have in mind, or that you could utilise what already exists if it suited your needs. But you seem to have identified a gap in the market, so to speak.

The masses shall be they judge of what they will want to get involved with, surely. As it should be.

2016 shall be an interesting year, what with two, maybe three conferences. And now a newsletter, to go with the Rip, WS Journal, Ripperana, the apps, internet (which is now available on all smart phones) and oh so much more.

Fantastic.

Who is gonna fill em with facts?

Monty

With so much choice its win win for the enthusiast.

For our part we will as always put on a good show with outstanding value for money and always that little bit extra thrown in . So we wish other conferences well.

Heres to 2016.

There's a right ding-ding going on over on Casebook. On the JTR Museum thread. Disgraceful behaviour. Shocking language. Very entertaining.

I don't think that either Stephen or Ally are around, Rick....I'm pretty sure that that thread would have been closed.

I just noticed someone stepped in and took care of the brouhaha.

Is it win win? Depends on the quality of the fayre. MacDonalds or Steak?

Poor form to diss other peoples houses, which used to be a rule on both sites (How, you're slipping Buddy ;-) ), especially when yours is no tidier.
