Hi Adam

As far as I can tell - it's not on the market yet. I think he may be having trouble finding a publisher - can't imagine why!

AW:

The purveyor of this bizarre theory has also appeared on a radio program...and he's dead serious about Van Gogh being the Ripper.

I'm trying to work out how this guy might have worked "Chair and Pipe" (painted 1888) into the plot.

Default Are you serious?

Hello Howard.

"he's dead serious about Van Gogh being the Ripper."

Umm, I have followed his thread. I think he's really NOT serious.

Could be wrong.

Cheers.

Lynn:
Why would he go to the trouble of appearing on radio and presenting his theory if he wasn't serious ?

LC:
Notoriety ?
Usually, when someone desires notoriety they do something positive to gain it.
Eh...who knows ?

I also have my doubts that he's serious. All of his posts (and his website) just seem over the top to me.

I too wonder if he is serious or not. But, like How said, he's appeared on the radio with his 'theory'; also, has published clips on You Tube about it; has a website dedicated to it; and a reasonably large Facebook page on the topic.

On the other hand, like Lynn and Franco have said, there's something that doesn't quite sit right - his book - if it does exist - has never been published, not even self-published on Amazon, and he seems to delight in mocking ripperologists and those knowledgeable about Vincent van Gogh alike on various boards.

He either genuinely believes in his theory, or loves the attention it brings him, or is a loony! Or, possibly, a disturbing mix of aforementioned!
