On VII.57 it shows Tenter Street near Dorset St where William Grainger carried out his attack in a yard or court

I think it must be the one indicated below, as two policeman approached him from different directions and the screams or moans were heard from Butler St

There's another possibility across the road from Butler St near the corner if the policeman just approached him from both ends of Tenter St
