Default Who Am I ??? New Forums Comp.

Folks...

Since the cheapskate owner of this site isn't able to sponsor the competitions like he used to....how's this for a new little challenge between ourselves?

The name of the new comp is WHO AM I ?

Each week,I will put up a new person involved in the Whitechapel Murders for you to guess as to the identity of him or her.

The first mystery person to follow.......

Default WHO AM I ? July 24th 2006

I was a policeman in the East End at the time of the WM....

......I outlived all my contemporaries.....and often disguised myself as a chimney sweep and loafer among other things.

......I eventually became a private detective and was chummy with the heiress of the Singer sewing machine company.

WHO AM I ?

Is it Walter Dew?

******************

Dear Prof.Leece:

I will wait until a little later on in the week before answering in the affirmative or negative on it. No offense.

I want to see how this comp. goes as a trial run.

Thanks for your answer however.....we shall see if you are correct sir.

Talking We Are Highly Amused

You failed to mention if I caused a further falsehood with the solution I gave to your quizzical query regarding one of my finest boys in black

Should a person of my royal status be made to wait until Friday also?!?!?

Surely not!!!!! LOL
