Its a shame that diary world has become so seriously toxic and I doubt any one without a hide of steel would want to have to anything more to do with it........ but it would be nice to have at least one talk giving a neutral overview (if its possible) of what happened and how.

Sir Robert Anderson could probably give a nice overview of the technical details (he's probably tired of giving such talks however).

A piece on the watch could be interesting and perhaps less inflamed than the diary?

A purely technical piece from someone from a University on New techniques or whatever that could be applied?

A talk from someone who was heavily involved at the time and who might be willing to wax lyrical on what they think the Diary saga meant for Ripperology and how it was/is conducted?

The problem with getting in someone who believes in the diary is that it will end up as a verbal version of the interminable threads that still exist and probably in the same acrimonious style?

Keeping it polite will no doubt be a problem no matter what one does.

I think if it was Trevors hotel it would be more like HH Holmes murdercastle for some of you guys. Luckily i get on with the guy so im safe

The Diary anniversary is ( Fingers crossed ) going to be a neutral sensible discussion on its journey from 1992 until now. What have we learnt? Where is the story going ? and what is there left to answer ?

You might be surprised

Rick

I will resize the scans in the previous post tomorrow. They're too large.

Try to post more reasonably sized photos if you would.

I'll get them back up tomorrow.

Thank you.
