Hello Jon

Yes - looking into it a little deeper that domain name has been through a few changes over the last couple of years - several hosts and, from what I can see, at least a couple of owners! Back to the drawing board!

When the previous shop opened their was an initial period when it wasn't linked to the shawl and Russell Edwards didn't self promote himself particularly with respect to it.
I will be flabbergasted if this new venture is not from the same source.

I just wonder whether putting all his eggs into one basket - i.e. Kos - was bad for his retail business. If you promote Kos and Kos only under banner of The Official Store, then how can you sell books about other suspects? And if, for whatever reason, you relocate to Cable Street (Toynbee Street was just a pop-up) surely you can't turn your nose up at your near neighbour Chapman.

In the long term only an unknown Ripper is a going concern

I've been trying to visualise the list of speakers for the "Original Jack the Ripper Conference 2016" and my mind is boggling. I assume the speakers won't be taking any questions ...

The phone number on the Facebook page is for someone called Fiona Marshall who works for a PR firm called Square Pegg
Media.
One of the Directors of Square Pegg Media, Linda Riley, was also a director of two dissolved Jack the Ripper Museum companies and two Sherlock Holmes linked companies.
Their other focuses seem to be first time buyers in the housing market and promotions involving the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender community.
A strange mix.

That could make sense if you look at the Linkedin profile of the gentleman Sam Flynn discovered.
