Lawless is a great name for a solicitor is it not?

Strange that there's not much discussion these days about Sadler's possible guilt.

It sure is, ST.

I don't know why discussion regarding Sadler's possible culpability isn't discussed much

I imagine that it's because he was known to have been at sea during the autumn of 1888 and so cannot be a Ripper suspect proper. On the balance of probabilities I reckon he did kill Coles while angry and extremely drunk but proving the charge in court wasn't possible.

Stephen:
Do you base some of your view towards his guilt on the knife he is said to have sold to Duncan Campbell, which Sadler denied doing ?

Well Sadler accused the police of fitting him up (Heaven forbid) on that one.

The most telling fact indicating Sadler's guilt is his proximity to the murder scene 15 minutes before the murder.
